Xbox has confirmed it will have a major presence at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, highlighted by a global broadcast and a slate of playable demos on the show floor. The broadcast is set for Thursday, September 25th at 7:00 p.m. JST (3:00 a.m. PT / 6:00 a.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. UK), with localization support across multiple languages and regions.

The broadcast will stream live on Xbox and official Tokyo Game Show channels, with regional feeds on YouTube and Twitch. Viewers can tune in with translations in over a dozen languages, including Japanese, English, Korean, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. Xbox also confirmed Japanese Sign Language (JSL), American Sign Language (ASL), and audio descriptions in Japanese and English to expand accessibility.

Fans attending the event in person will be able to test new and upcoming projects at several booths:

  • Koei Tecmo Booth — Featuring a playable demo of Ninja Gaiden 4, giving fans a first hands-on with the return of the action series.
  • Republic of Gamers Booth — Showcasing the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, two handheld systems designed with Xbox integration in mind.
  • Bethesda x Infolens Geek Shop Booth — A merchandise hub with collectibles from Fallout, Starfield, Doom, and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Xbox says its stream will include updates from internal studios and Asian development partners, continuing its push to expand presence in Japan and across Asia. Fans are speculating about potential surprises, with leaks suggesting Forza Horizon 6 (rumored to be set in Japan), could make an appearance.
