Developer Bloober Team and publisher Konami may have let the curtain slip on a wider launch for the remake of Silent Hill 2 Remake. Following its October 2024 debut on PlayStation 5 and PC, a store listing for November 21, 2025 has surfaced on the Microsoft Store, pointing to a possible Xbox Series X/S port.
The listing was uncovered when the site TrueAchievements (a community tracker with access to Xbox’s metadata backend), identified a page tagged for Xbox and PC showing the November date and a Deluxe Edition option. The page has since been pulled or hidden, but the screenshot captured the listing’s details.
Shortly after the listing appeared, the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) added a rating for the Xbox Series X/S version of the game, further reinforcing the leak’s credibility. Meanwhile a now-deleted tweet from Bloober writer Grzegorz Like teased the long-rumored “Born from a Wish” bonus scenario expansion and the port, reacting with the words “well whaddya know!” when a fan mentioned the DLC.
Taken together, the Microsoft Store listing, ESRB rating, and developer’s social tease suggest the Xbox version is real and possibly imminent. Neither Bloober Team nor Konami has issued an official date or statement yet.
If November 21st holds, it would align neatly with the end of the game’s one-year PlayStation-exclusive window and open the path for a broader platform rollout. The listing’s inclusion of a Deluxe Edition suggests this may not just be a straight port, but an opportunity to bundle added content or bonuses.
For fans of survival horror and the Silent Hill franchise, the leak delivers a major sign of movement. With the Xbox release in sight, the next question is what extras will accompany it—and whether the “Born from a Wish” scenario, beloved from the original Xbox version of the 2001 game, will make a return.
