Apple has introduced the Apple Watch Series 11, the latest entry in its mainstream watch line, focusing heavily on health features and improved usability.

The standout addition is a hypertension detection system. Using enhanced optical heart sensors and advanced algorithms, the watch can alert users to possible signs of high blood pressure. Apple noted the feature will be available pending regulatory approvals, with a goal to help users track long-term heart health.

Sleep monitoring has also been expanded with a new Sleep Score that evaluates sleep duration, quality, and consistency, giving users a more complete understanding of nightly rest. Other health features such as ECG, blood oxygen measurement, and temperature tracking continue from prior generations.

Series 11 brings major efficiency improvements. Battery life now lasts up to 24 hours, and with the new fast charging system, users can gain up to 8 hours of use from a 15-minute charge. The display is also tougher, featuring Ion-X glass with a ceramic coating that Apple says is twice as scratch resistant compared with Series 10.

Fitness features include Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence, which recommends training adjustments based on activity patterns. New gestures such as wrist flick allow users to dismiss notifications more naturally.
