For fans of gothic tones, progressive heaviness, and bold reinvention, End of You delivers on every front. On September 4th, 2025, Evanescence’s Amy Lee, Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante, and Poppy released the collaborative track, accompanied by a lush, fantasy-infused video, that highlights both vulnerability and strength. The song weaves together Lee’s signature soaring melody, LaPlante’s powerful screams, and Poppy’s distinctive voice into a dramatic mix underscored by a lyrical theme of leaving behind something that hurts in order to begin something better.
The track follows recent collaborations from Evanescence: earlier this year, Amy Lee teamed up with Halsey for “Hand That Feeds” for the Ballerina soundtrack, and Evanescence also contributed “Fight Like a Girl” with K. Flay. Meanwhile, the band is currently finishing the follow-up to their 2021 album The Bitter Truth, which is expected to arrive in 2026.
Live, the timing of “End of You” is ripe. Evanescence kick off several dates this month, including opening for My Chemical Romance’s Long Live The Black Parade tour in Tampa. Poppy continues her They’re All Around Us tour, with a stop in Montclair, New Jersey that same night. Spiritbox are set to headline the second portion of their Tsunami Sea tour with support from Periphery and Honey Revenge in November, anchored by their appearance at Louder Than Life on September 19th.
