Sony has confirmed the PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for November 2025, and one of the most talked-about rumors has finally been proven true. Stray, the award-winning indie cat adventure, headlines the month’s free games alongside EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. All three titles will be available to download from Tuesday, November 4 through Monday, December 1 for PlayStation Plus members on PS4 and PS5.
The confirmation ends months of speculation. Leaks on forums and social media had listed Stray as the top Essential-tier title weeks before Sony’s official post, sparking excitement among fans who missed it when it launched in 2022. The announcement from the PlayStation Blog validates those reports, giving subscribers a chance to experience one of the most beloved indie games of the decade.
Stray was developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. The game follows a lone cat exploring a neon-lit cybercity populated by robots, uncovering secrets of the world and its inhabitants while trying to find a way home. Upon release, Stray received strong reviews from critics, with most praising its art direction, atmosphere, and unique perspective. It maintains a Metacritic score in the low 80s and won several honors including Best Debut at the Game Developers Choice Awards and Best Independent Game at The Game Awards 2022. Many reviewers described it as one of the most emotional and visually distinctive indie games in years.
Next on the list, EA Sports WRC 24 brings the official 2024 FIA World Rally Championship season to PS5. Built by the developers of the Dirt Rally series, the game features modes such as Builder, Moments, and Career, as well as cross-platform multiplayer. With its advanced vehicle physics, dynamic weather, and full roster of WRC teams, it aims to deliver one of the most realistic rally experiences yet.
The third addition, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, adds some humor to the lineup. The physics-based strategy game lets players pit wobbling armies against each other in absurd, chaotic battles across ancient, spooky, and fantasy-themed environments. Players can also create custom units, design battlefields, and test them online against others.
Subscribers have until Monday, November 3 to add the October games—Alan Wake 2, Goat Simulator 3, and Cocoon—to their library before they rotate out.
The November lineup offers one of the strongest month-to-month mixes in recent memory, combining Stray’s heartfelt storytelling, WRC 24’s technical racing realism, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator’s unpredictable charm.
