LG looks ready to roll out its next generation of OLED TVs, and two new models have quietly appeared in regulatory filings that point to what the company is planning for 2026. Listings for the LG C6 and LG G6 showed up in South Korea’s certification database, which is usually the first sign that a new product line is nearing launch. Both entries were for 55 inch models labeled OLED55C6SNA and OLED55G6KNA, matching the naming style LG uses for its production units.

Beyond the model names, the filings do not reveal much, but they do confirm that these sets are real and likely moving into the final stages of approval. LG followed a similar pattern last year when the C5 and G5 were spotted in certification documents a few months before the company unveiled them. If the timing repeats, the C6 and G6 could make their public debut around early 2026, possibly lining up with CES.
Specs are still a mystery, though expectations are already forming. The 2025 C5 and G5 models delivered strong 4K performance, 120 Hz panels, improved brightness, updated MLA technology on higher tier models, support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, and LG’s webOS smart platform. The assumption for now is that the C6 and G6 will at least match those features, with the G series likely getting the bigger upgrades in brightness and processing power.
One point that has caught attention is the naming. LG used “C6” and “G6” branding back in 2016 for some of its earliest OLED TVs. Bringing those names back in 2026 risks some confusion, especially for people researching older sets or comparing used models, but the company seems to be sticking with its established letter-number strategy.
Because the filings only confirmed 55 inch units, additional sizes are expected to follow. LG has offered wide size ranges for years, from 42 inch bedroom friendly OLEDs all the way up to 97 inch premium displays. There is no indication yet of new sizes or formats, but LG usually expands the lineup as launch approaches.
With certifications now underway, the C6 and G6 appear to be getting close. Full specs, pricing, and release information will likely surface once LG begins its 2026 announcements at CES next month.
