Sony and Reebok are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation with a limited-edition sneaker collection launching this October. The collaboration spotlights three region-specific styles that pay tribute to classic ’90s gaming aesthetics while honoring the console’s heritage.
Each sneaker in the PlayStation × Reebok line reflects one of the initial launch markets: Japan, the U.S., and the UK. All three versions adopt a gray colorway inspired by the original PlayStation console, and each includes nostalgic touches, such as hidden references to dates or classic gaming motifs.
In the UK, Reebok will release the Workout Plus on October 15 through END. This edition comes with two lace options, a removable lacelock cable attachment, and internal arch support. In the U.S., the Pump Omni Zone II debuts on October 17 via CNCPTS. It features a custom pump ball in PlayStation’s colors and retro detailing. The Japanese exclusive, the Instapump Fury 94, will launch on October 24 at Beams. That version includes a “Press Play” feature on the pump, a memory-card–style tongue design, and the date 3 December 1994, marking the original Japanese release.
All three releases carry limited-edition packaging echoing the design of the original console, complete with matching gray tones across the collection. Sony’s PlayStation blog confirms these designs are part of a broader 30th anniversary campaign.
Pricing for each pair aligns with regional norms: ¥37,000 in Japan for the Instapump, $220 USD for the Omni Zone II, and £150 in the UK for the Workout Plus.
