The clip-show staple Ridiculousness, hosted by Rob Dyrdek, will end production after 46 seasons, the network announced. The series debuted in 2011 and has spawned nearly 2,000 episodes featuring viral videos, celebrity guests and Dyrdek’s signature commentary.
Sources familiar with the decision say the end comes as MTV and its parent company shift toward a “more curated slate” of programming and away from long-running formats. While no new episodes will be made, episodes already produced will continue airing through 2026.
The show’s cancellation signals a significant change for MTV’s late-night programming. For years the series was a consistent fixture, especially in overnight and early-morning time-slots. Its departure is part of broader network changes, including scaling back multiple music-branded channels and refocusing on refreshed original content.
