Panic! At The Disco is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out (2005), with a deluxe re-issue set to arrive December 5, 2025. The box set includes the album remastered for the first time, 11 previously unreleased demos and a live performance from Denver on vinyl for the first time. The band describes the release as “a time capsule” of the era.
Frontman Brendon Urie said of the anniversary set, “This record still feels as raw and alive as when we recorded it in our early twenties. We wanted to give fans a version that reflects how we felt in the studio and how the songs still live with us.” The deluxe edition will come in a 4-LP box pressed on coloured vinyl (Red Velvet and Gold Nugget), alongside a 12-page zine with never-seen photographs, a sticker set, a door-hanger and a paper-doll set.
The original album peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 and later achieved multi-platinum status in the United States. Its breakthrough single, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains one of the band’s defining songs. Over the last two decades, the record’s blend of pop-punk, theatrical flourishes and quirky lyricism secured its place in modern rock history.
The newly packaged set was made available for pre-order via the band’s store; retail versions will ship around January 23, 2026. This timing gives fans a holiday-season option and positions the release to carry the momentum of anniversary celebrations into the new year. Music industry analysts note that anniversary editions often drive a renewed wave of streaming, catalogue sales and fan engagement, and this release looks tailored for both longtime listeners and new fans discovering the band’s early sound.
