Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus games for August 2025, and it’s a trio full of variety. Starting August 5th, PS Plus members can download Lies of P (PS5 & PS4), Day Z (PS4), and My Hero One’s Justice 2 (PS4) at no extra cost.

To mark the service’s 15th anniversary, Sony is also giving away a special set of anniversary avatars—featuring characters from Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarok, Twisted Metal, and more.

What You Can Expect From Each Game

Lies of P
A dark, twisted take on the classic Pinocchio story, this soulslike title drops you into the ruined city of Krat, where puppets and madness reign. You control Pinocchio trying to find Geppetto while managing lies, combat, and exploration.

Day Z
This hardcore survival sandbox throws players into a zombie-infested open world. Map choices include Chernarus and Livonia, and death is permanent—when you fall, you lose everything and start over.

My Hero One’s Justice 2
Based on My Hero Academia, this is a 3D arena fighter where heroes and villains clash with “Quirks” in destructible stages. Fans of the anime will enjoy seeing their favorite characters in action.
