Sony has revealed the October 2025 additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, and this month’s lineup focuses heavily on horror, survival, and dark storytelling to match the Halloween season. The new titles will be available starting October 21 for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.
Headlining the collection is the long-awaited Silent Hill 2 remake for PlayStation 5. The rebuilt version brings new visuals, refined audio, and updated gameplay mechanics while staying true to the tone of the 2001 classic. It’s joined by Until Dawn, which returns as a remastered edition for PS5. The choice-driven horror game lets players control multiple characters through a branching story where every decision determines who lives and who dies.
The additions continue with V Rising, a vampire-themed survival action RPG where players build castles, hunt for blood, and reclaim power after centuries of slumber. Yakuza: Like a Dragon also joins the lineup, bringing its turn-based combat and over-the-top storytelling to both PS4 and PS5.
Other new titles include Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, a puzzle-horror adventure set in an abandoned toy factory; As Dusk Falls, a narrative-driven crime drama following two families across multiple decades; and Wizard with a Gun, a cooperative sandbox game that combines crafting and magic in a stylized world of chaos.
For Premium subscribers, Sony is adding a classic title to its retro catalog: Tekken 3. The PS1 fighter comes with modern enhancements such as save states, rewind features, and up-rendered visuals, giving fans a way to revisit one of the most iconic fighting games ever released.
The lineup highlights Sony’s effort to provide a mix of high-quality horror titles and genre diversity. Between survival, drama, and classic fighting action, this month’s update offers something for nearly every type of player.
