Samsung has expanded its 2026 audio ecosystem ahead of CES 2026, introducing two new Wi-Fi speakers and refreshed soundbars that plug into its multi-device sound platform. The goal is richer, more flexible audio whether you’re listening to music or watching movies.
Music Studio 7 is the bigger and more immersive model in the new Wi-Fi speaker series. It delivers 3.1.1-channel spatial audio with left, front, right, and top-firing drivers. Samsung’s Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology cuts down on signal overlap between drivers for clearer directionality. Built-in AI Dynamic Bass Control deepens low-end output with less distortion, and Hi-Resolution Audio support lets it process up to 24-bit/96 kHz. You can use the Music Studio 7 on its own, pair it with another unit for wider stereo sound, or sync it with compatible Samsung TVs and soundbars using Q-Symphony for broader setups.
The Music Studio 5 is a smaller, design-forward speaker made for homes where looks matter as much as sound. It uses a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters tuned by Samsung’s Audio Lab to deliver balanced audio. Like the Studio 7, it includes AI Dynamic Bass Control and offers Wi-Fi casting, support for streaming services, voice control, and Bluetooth connectivity.
On the soundbar side, Samsung refreshed its lineup with two key models. The flagship HW-Q990H continues Samsung’s high-end tradition with an 11.1.4-channel setup and introduces features like Sound Elevation to make dialogue sound more centered and Auto Volume to keep levels consistent across content.
The HW-QS90H joins the 2026 range as an all-in-one soundbar designed for flexible placement and strong performance. It packs a 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers, including nine wide-range speakers and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer for deeper bass without a separate subwoofer. Its Convertible Fit design lets you mount it on a wall or set it on a tabletop, and a gyro sensor automatically adapts the sound channel distribution based on how it’s positioned.
Samsung says its Q-Symphony technology is smarter in 2026, letting you link up to five sound devices with a compatible TV and optimize sound distribution based on your room. The SmartThings app gives you unified control over playback and settings across the connected audio products.
