Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7, its latest clamshell-style foldable that combines portability with performance. The Flip7’s standout upgrade is its new edge-to-edge FlexWindow, which extends across the front panel and makes the device more practical for quick interactions without unfolding.
The FlexWindow enables users to reply to messages with suggested text, control music, view maps, and capture selfies directly from the cover display. Samsung has also added auto-framing for hands-free photos, letting the camera adjust composition dynamically while subjects move.
The Flip7 comes equipped with Galaxy AI, which supports real-time translation during phone calls, text rewriting in messaging apps, and advanced editing tools for images.
Durability has been a focus, with Samsung refining the hinge mechanism and strengthening the display materials for longer life. The design remains compact while offering the same flagship performance expected from a Galaxy device.
“With Galaxy Z Flip7, we are giving users a phone that is both expressive and powerful,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Electronics. “The edge-to-edge FlexWindow delivers new ways to interact, while Galaxy AI makes everyday tasks faster and more intuitive.”
