Summer Game Fest 2026 is officially scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Geoff Keighley will once again produce and host the event, continuing his long-running partnership with the industry showcase.
This year marks a major shift in venue. The festival is moving from the YouTube Theater to the Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards. The move signals SGF’s continued growth and recognition as one of gaming’s most prominent live events.
The show will feature world premieres, exclusive announcements, and appearances from top publishers and studios across the gaming industry. It will also stream live across major platforms worldwide. Public ticket sales are expected to open in spring 2026, giving fans the opportunity to attend in person.
Keighley described the upcoming showcase as “a celebration of what’s next in video games,” adding that it will continue to serve as a central hub for announcements and global reveals.
Summer Game Fest 2026 will also coincide with a series of publisher-specific presentations and hands-on demo events across Los Angeles, building a full week of gaming celebrations similar to the E3 format that once defined the industry.
