Sick New World is doubling down in 2026 with two huge festivals planned for Las Vegas and Texas. The Las Vegas event hits the Festival Grounds on April 25 and will feature headliners System of a Down and Korn. Supporting acts include Evanescence, Mastodon, Knocked Loose, Cypress Hill, and Danny Elfman, who is bringing his full rock orchestra performance to the stage.
The Texas edition takes over the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth on October 24. The lineup features System of a Down, Deftones, Slayer, Evanescence, The Prodigy, AFI, Mastodon, Power Trip, and Knocked Loose. Slayer’s appearance will mark the band’s 40th anniversary of their landmark album Reign in Blood, making it one of the most anticipated performances of the year.
Presale for the Las Vegas show begins Thursday, October 23 at 10 a.m. CT, followed by Texas presale on Friday, October 24 at 10 a.m. CT. The festival’s return follows the cancellation of the 2025 event due to scheduling conflicts and logistics challenges.
Sick New World debuted in 2023 with System of a Down as headliners and quickly earned a reputation for pulling together some of the most impressive lineups in heavy music. Its 2024 edition, featuring Slipknot and Bring Me the Horizon, sold out in under an hour, setting high expectations for what’s next.
Serj Tankian of System of a Down commented on returning to the festival circuit, saying, “As I saw from the stage at Sick New World last year, the multi-generational appeal of the music we have made is mind-blowing. Our music is more timeless than we ever imagined, and that is the biggest compliment for any artist.”
With two events and stacked rosters, Sick New World 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations of rock and metal in years. Whether you’re catching Korn in Las Vegas or Slayer in Texas, it’s going to be a weekend worth the trip.
