Taylor Swift has announced two new Disney+ releases tied to her record-breaking Eras Tour. On December 12, 2025, fans will see The Eras Tour | The Final Show, a complete concert film capturing her final performance in Vancouver, along with a six-episode docuseries titled The End of an Era. The documentary series will provide an inside look at how Swift and her team built, executed, and closed out one of the largest tours in music history.
In a post shared with fans, Swift said the goal was to preserve the emotional and creative energy of the tour’s final months. She described it as “a way to hold onto the stories, people, and moments that made this journey unforgettable.” The series will feature candid moments backstage, rehearsal footage, and interviews with collaborators who helped bring the Eras Tour to life.
This release follows the massive success of the 2023 Eras Tour concert film, which focused on her Los Angeles performances. The Final Show differs by including new setlist additions from her album The Tortured Poets Department, performed live for the first time during the final leg of the tour.
The docuseries will debut its first two episodes on December 12, followed by two new episodes each week on December 19 and December 26. Featured appearances include Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch, as well as a special look at Travis Kelce’s on-stage cameo during one of the final shows.
The Eras Tour became the most successful concert tour of all time, spanning 149 shows across five continents and earning more than $2 billion in ticket sales. Beyond the numbers, it reshaped the live music industry by reviving stadium attendance, driving local economies, and inspiring a new standard of fan engagement.
Disney has positioned the film and series as a cultural capstone to an era that defined both Swift’s artistry and the modern touring landscape. The company previously streamed her earlier Eras Tour film, which broke viewership records upon release.
The new documentary promises to offer a more personal perspective, exploring what it took to sustain a multi-year tour at this scale and what it meant for Swift to bring it to a close. Fans can expect behind-the-scenes moments that show her balancing creative control, physical endurance, and emotional connection with her audience.
With the tour now officially behind her, Swift’s next chapter is already in motion. Industry insiders report that she has begun work on new music, with speculation that a fresh era could emerge in 2026. For now, The End of an Era serves as both a farewell and a celebration of the most ambitious project of her career.
