At IFA 2025, TCL revealed the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra, a smartphone centered on display comfort. The 7.2-inch screen uses NXTPAPER 4.0 technology, promising zero flicker, blue-light filtration, anti-glare, natural light appearance, and circadian-friendly warm tones—crafted in partnership with TCL CSOT.

TCL incorporated seven core eye-care technologies, including TruePaper Restoration and reflection reduction, aiming for immersive, strain-free everyday viewing. A dedicated Max Ink Mode offers distraction-free reading with extensive standby time.

Under the hood, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip, paired with 12 GB RAM (expandable to 24 GB), and at least 512 GB of storage. Imaging is powered by a 50 MP main rear camera, 50 MP telephoto (3× optical zoom), an ultrawide lens, and a 32 MP front camera. A 5,200 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging backs it up. The smartphone also boasts AI features like TCL Note and Max Ink Mode for productivity. It is priced at €499 and set to launch in Europe, LATAM, and APAC in September.

In addition to this, TCL secured the “Best in Tech for Good” award for the NXTPAPER 60 Ultra display at IFA’s Innovation Awards, highlighting its emphasis on eye health.
